Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Social Scheduler collects, uses, stores and protects information when you use our social media scheduling service.

By using the service, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information we collect

We may collect the following information:

  • Account information, including your name, email address and password.
  • Your selected timezone and preferred time format.
  • Information about Facebook Pages you choose to connect, such as the Page name, Page ID, profile image and access credentials supplied by Meta.
  • Social media content you create through the service, including text, links, uploaded images and scheduled publication times.
  • Publication results and errors returned by the Facebook platform.
  • Technical information necessary to operate and secure the service, such as IP addresses, browser information and application logs.

2. How we use your information

We use the collected information to:

  • Create and manage your account.
  • Connect the Facebook Pages you authorize.
  • Publish or schedule content to your selected Facebook Pages.
  • Display the status and history of your scheduled and published posts.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot and secure the service.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our applicable terms.

3. Facebook and Meta platform data

When you connect Facebook, you authorize the service to access the Facebook Pages and permissions you select through Meta's authorization process.

We use this access only to provide the functionality you request, such as retrieving your available Pages and publishing content to those Pages.

Our use of information received from Meta is subject to Meta's applicable platform terms and policies. Facebook access credentials are not sold or used for advertising.

4. How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Information may be shared only:

  • With Meta when necessary to publish content or perform another action you requested.
  • With service providers that help us operate, host, secure or maintain the service.
  • When required by law, regulation, legal process or a valid government request.
  • When necessary to protect the rights, safety or security of our users, the public or the service.

5. Data retention

We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and maintain security.

Disconnecting a Facebook Page stops future access through that connection. Some publication records may remain until you delete them or your account, subject to any applicable legal retention requirements.

6. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards intended to protect personal information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.

No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and notifying us if you suspect unauthorised account activity.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your personal information.

You may disconnect Facebook Pages from the Social Accounts section of your dashboard. You can also remove this application's access through your Facebook account settings.

8. Data deletion

You may request deletion of your information by:

  1. Disconnecting your Facebook Pages from the Social Accounts page.
  2. Deleting individual drafts or scheduled posts from the Posts page.
  3. Deleting your account from your profile settings, if account deletion is available.
  4. Contacting us at hello@example.com and requesting deletion.

Before processing an email request, we may ask you to verify that you own the relevant account.

9. Cookies

We may use essential cookies required for authentication, security and basic application functionality. These cookies are necessary for the service to operate correctly.

10. Children's privacy

The service is not intended for children under the minimum age required to consent to online services in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our service, legal obligations or data practices change. The updated date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
